Women Empowerment Embodied
Some of us were taught to be small so others could stay comfortable. I’m no longer available for that. This is a love letter to women—especially Black women—who are choosing truth over permission and self-honor over apology.
🪄 Today’s Frequency:
SOVEREIGN SOFTNESS
- I choose myself without apology.
My boundaries are love.
My power blesses every woman I meet.
Who decided that women — especially Black women — should feel ashamed for wanting more?
For daring to be selfish.
For pouring into ourselves.
For walking away from marriages and relationships that no longer serve us.
For choosing a life other than motherhood.
For refusing to bite our tongue to “keep the peace.”
Peace for who?
For those who want to keep us small.
For those afraid of our power.
Don’t be fooled by their masks — the pretend confidence, the fake bravery.
Real courage is supporting anyone on a path of self-discovery, growth, and truth.
So, ladies — never let anyone make you feel guilty for choosing yourself.
Especially not men we brought into this world. Why be bullied by our own creation?
And here’s the truth about women empowerment:
It’s not just about supporting the women you approve of — the ones who look, speak, or live the way you like.
It’s about supporting all women.
Any race. Any religion. Any status.
We can’t expect from others what we don’t give ourselves.
Even if we aren’t cool, I will still support your right to live a joyful, fulfilling life — however you define it.
So here’s your permission:
Choose yourself.
Love yourself.
Be selfish with your time and your energy.
Allow access only to those who have earned it.
Release shame for the woman you used to be.
You get to choose who you are — today, in this moment.
With Love,
Julie Renee
When a woman remembers her worth, the room gets brighter. May our boundaries be acts of love, our softness be our strength, and our success be an open door for the next sister in line.
