There comes a time when kindness without boundaries becomes self-betrayal. That time is over. This is my Villain Era.

Light and love played out real quick,
once I realized the trick.
It never did sit well with me.
Turn the other cheek,
be the bigger person—
my soul knew something was off.
But now that I know?
I dare you—come try me.
Yes, I’m kind.
My light shines bright.
Heart full of love…
but just know,
the other side of all that light
runs just as deep.
Many have been spared—until now.
Going forward,
move carefully with me.
No more “bigger person.”
You’re getting what you give.
Consider yourself warned.
I’m no longer afraid of being misunderstood. Call it a villain era if you want — I call it self-respect
